"One size fits all"... this is good for an oven mitt, a blanket... but a fitness program?
One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to your health, wellness, and weight loss.
Simply put - it's whatever works for you.
Every body is different and unique, just like how everybody is different and unique. What diet or workout regimen works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for someone else. Why?
When you break down the basic (I mean b a s i c) steps of weight loss, it involves eating nutritious foods and working out or moving your body. The thing is - the way I metabolize food, the way my body reacts to the foods I eat, the way my body reacts to certain workouts - is completely different from how your body metabolizes and reacts to certain foods and workouts. Our bodies are not built the same, otherwise we would look exactly the same.
So if in general, our bodies need different things, how would a one-size-fits-all program work for everyone? That’s the thing - it doesn’t. What does work is finding what works for your body and lifestyle and offers you results. Who cares if your way of being healthy doesn’t have a “name”, like “keto” or “low-carb” - the most important thing is that you find something that works for your body and your mind, and you stick with it.
I have some clients that:
🤳🏽 Find best results by counting calories and macros, diligently monitoring what they eat
🍽 See results for themselves when they pay attention mostly to their portions, being mindful about how much food they eat
📝 Simply log what they eat each day and send it to me for accountability
Each of these clients has experienced real transformation in their own way.
When it comes to ordering a robe or PJ’s online, one size fits all is just fine. But when it comes to your health - whether weight loss, skin routine, fitness regimen, overall wellness - a customized approach is the best choice.
